Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Location: Pensby

Working Hours: 08:30 – 15:30, Monday to Friday

We are currently seeking a dedicated, patient, and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our supportive school team. In this rewarding role, you will provide essential support to children with special educational needs, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and thrive in an inclusive environment.

With excellent working hours of 08:30 to 15:30 during term time, this role offers a fantastic work-life balance while allowing you to have a profound impact on student development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to children with varying special educational needs (e.g., Autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, or physical disabilities).

• Assist the class teacher in adapting lesson materials and delivering engaging activities.

• Support the social, emotional, and physical wellbeing of the children.

• Help manage classroom behavior positively and proactively.

What We Are Looking For:

• Previous experience working with children (personal or professional).

• A calm, empathetic, and resilient approach.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with students and staff.

• A relevant qualification is advantageous but not essential.
