Technical Sales Engineer

55,000 to £65,000 + 20% Bonus (OTE £66,000 to £78,000) + Training + Progression + Benefits

Newcastle under Lyme, Staffordshire - Commutable from: Stoke on Trent, Crewe, Stafford, Stone, Congleton, Nantwich, Leek

Are you a Sales Engineer with a mechanical background, looking to combine your technical expertise with developing new business and managing customer relationships?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established engineering manufacturer offering an excellent salary, a generous performance bonus and the chance to work on a variety of technical projects with significant commercial responsibility.

This company specialises in the design and manufacture of pumping solutions for industrial and wastewater applications. They have built a strong reputation for delivering reliable, engineered solutions and are continuing to develop their customer base.

In this role, you will develop new business, manage existing customer relationships and provide technical solutions to meet customer requirements. You will also prepare quotations, specify equipment and oversee projects from initial enquiry through to commissioning.

This role would suit a Sales Engineer or Technical Sales Engineer with a mechanical engineering background, looking for a varied role offering strong earning potential and long term career development.

The Role:

• Developing new business and managing existing customer relationships

• Providing technical solutions and specifying mechanical equipment

• Preparing quotations, costing projects and managing contracts through to commissioning

• Conducting customer site visits and identifying sales opportunities

• Monday to Friday, 40 hours, office based with occasional UK travel

The Person:

• Mechanical engineering background with proven technical sales experience

• Strong communication and customer relationship management skills

• Commutable to Newcastle under Lyme
