TIG Welder | Crawley | Up to £19.27 per hour

A well-established specialist manufacturer in Crawley is experiencing a significant uplift in demand and needs an experienced TIG Welder to help them keep pace. This is a permanent contract from day one, giving you the chance to get stuck into meaningful, skilled work with a business that’s genuinely thriving.

As a TIG Welder, your responsibilities will include:

• TIG welding components and parts to the correct standard
• Purge welding to a hygienic finish in line with food industry requirements
• Measuring and marking components and parts to ensure welding standards are met
• Inspecting finished work pieces to verify quality before they move on
• Assisting with minor repairs and maintenance of equipment and parts
• Transferring production pieces to the specified work areas

As a TIG Welder, your experience will include:

• Proven TIG welding experience, ideally within food manufacturing or hygienic fabrication
• Purge welding experience, particularly on stainless steel
• A solid understanding of health and safety requirements for welding and fabrication
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to spot defects through close visual inspection
• The ability to work accurately to tight production deadlines
