Trailer Technician / Fitters - Spider is advertising on behalf of SPR Trailer Services, a well-established trailer maintenance and repair specialist, who due to growth are looking for experienced Trailer Technicians / Fitters to join their team in Immingham, North East Lincolnshire. • Salary: Around £43,000 per annum, depending on experience, with realistic earning potential of £47,000+

About the role

You'll keep commercial trailers safe, roadworthy and moving, with a varied mix of workshop repairs, servicing and roadside work.

Key responsibilities include:

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial trailers
• Preparing trailers for MOT inspections
• Attending roadside breakdowns and customer sites
• Carrying out quayside trailer checks and repairs
• Providing out-of-hours on-call support
• Following health and safety procedures and maintaining high workmanship standards

About you

You'll have relevant trailer fitting, mechanical or engineering experience, with practical fault-finding and repair skills.

You'll be reliable, organised and confident working independently or as part of a team, including under pressure.

A full driving licence is essential. A Category C+E licence would be an advantage, although training can be provided.
