Trainee Factory Technician

We are looking for a reliable Trainee Factory Technician to join a busy team and learn all aspects of the workshop.

This is being a recruited on a Temp to Perm basis, with a permanent contract being issued to the right candidate on completion of temp period.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is keen to learn, get stuck in and become a valued member of the team. Full training will be provided. The company has been heavily investing and is experiencing a period of growth.

As Trainee Technician, you will learn to support multiple stations and processes in the Manufacturing cycle.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Arrissing glass
• Cutting glass
• Gunning units
• Accepting and checking deliveries
• Supporting the general running of the workshop

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

• Previous factory or hands on role experience 
• Forklift experience - favourable 
• Good level of English, both reading and writing 

What’s on offer:

Working hours are 06:00 - 16:30 Monday to Thursday / 4 Day working week 

Pay rate: £13.50 - £14.00 D.O.E
