You will provide individual support in a calm and supportive home environment, adapting your approach to suit the child's individual needs, interests and learning style.

The role is approximately 10-15 hours per week, with the potential for the right person to take on additional hours and responsibilities in the future.

•  Build a positive, trusting and supportive relationship with the child.
•  Encourage learning, communication, confidence and independence through engaging activities.
•  Adapt activities and your approach to suit the child's interests, abilities and individual learning style.
•  Create a positive and encouraging environment where the child feels comfortable, supported and able to develop.
•  Work collaboratively with the family to understand priorities and provide consistent support.
•  Maintain a professional, patient and positive approach at all times.

What We're Looking For

You'll ideally have:

•  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•  A patient, calm and empathetic approach.
•  The ability to build trust and develop positive relationships.
•  A reliable, responsible and professional attitude.
•  The ability to work independently and use your own initiative.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is kind, enthusiastic and committed to making a positive difference.
