Location: Andover
Pay: £13.37 per hour, plus overtime
Contract: Temp to Perm

Pertemps is currently recruiting for a Van Driver / Furniture Installer to join a manufacturing company based in Andover.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual who enjoys driving, working as part of a team and carrying out practical installation work.

Please note: This role involves occasional overnight stays and early starts, sometimes as early as 4:00 am.

Van Driver & Installer Key Responsibilities

• Delivering office furniture to various sites using a 3.5-tonne van.
  
  
• Carrying out on-site office furniture installations.
  
  
• Liaising professionally with customers at delivery and installation locations.
  
  
• Completing all necessary paperwork, including delivery notes and checklists.
  
  
• Working alongside a team member to complete deliveries and installations.
  
  
• Keeping the outgoing goods loading bay clean, tidy and organised.
  
  

Van Driver Requirements 

• A full, clean UK driving licence.
  
  
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience.
  
  
• Excellent attention to detail.
  
  
• A reliable and flexible approach to work.
  
  
• The ability to work well as part of a team.
  
  
• Good customer service and communication skills.
  
  

Working Hours 

• Monday to Friday.
  
  
• Start times vary, with some starts as early as 4:00 am.
  
  
• Occasional overnight stays may be required.
  
  
• £13.37 per hour.
  
  
• Overtime paid after 8.5 hours.
