Contract: 6 Month Contract | Inside IR35

The Opportunity
We are looking for a Vehicle Quality Auditor to join a specialist automotive manufacturing environment in Woking, supporting the delivery of bespoke vehicle content from initial build through to final sign-off.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you’ll work closely with Production, Logistics, Material Control, Stores and Workshop teams to make sure every vehicle and bespoke component meets the required customer specification and quality standards.

What You’ll Be Doing
As Vehicle Quality Auditor, you’ll be responsible for:

• Carrying out daily vehicle and production audits, checking builds against customer orders, part specifications, CAD documentation and quality standards.
• Managing bespoke part and production station sign-off, ensuring any build or quality issues are identified and resolved before vehicles progress.
• Working closely with Logistics and Production teams to ensure the correct parts and kits are available at the right point in the build process.
• Identifying, recording and communicating defects or non-conformities, escalating issues where required and helping develop practical solutions.
• Coordinating rework and post-fitment activities with production operatives and workshop technicians.
• Monitoring key production and quality information, maintaining relevant trackers and providing clear daily updates to stakeholders.
• Supporting continuous improvement across the production process, helping improve accuracy, efficiency and quality while maintaining excellent health, safety and housekeeping standards.

What We’re Looking For
We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment, ideally within automotive.
• Experience identifying, investigating and resolving quality or production issues.
• Strong attention to detail with good numerical, organisational and time-management skills.
• Confident written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.
• Good IT skills, with experience of systems such as SAP, MRP or warehouse management systems beneficial.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• The resilience and flexibility to work under pressure, meet deadlines and maintain consistently high standards.

You’ll have the opportunity to work across multiple areas of the manufacturing operation, develop strong product knowledge and directly influence the quality of vehicles moving through production.
