Pay rates from £13.50 up to £18.66 per hour

We're recruiting for a Foundry Box Maintenance Technician to join a well-established and growing business with a busy order book and long-term opportunities. This is a temp-to-perm position offering excellent earning potential, regular overtime and the chance to become part of a great team.

Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 05:00am - 13:00pm
• Overtime regularly available until 5:00pm
• Premium overtime rates paid after 40 hours worked

• Inspect, maintain and repair foundry boxes, pallets and bolsters to ensure they remain safe and production-ready.
• Carry out calibration checks and identify worn or damaged components.
• Complete welding, fabrication and general engineering repairs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and inspection records.
• Monitor critical spare parts and consumables.
• Support preventative and reactive maintenance activities as required.
• Help drive continuous improvement, reducing downtime and improving quality.
• Work to high standards of health, safety and housekeeping.

• Engineering, maintenance, welding or fabrication experience.
• Comfortable using measuring equipment and completing maintenance records.
• Reliable, motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
• Must be willing to work within a foundry environment.
• Foundry experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
