Location: Ossett, West Yorkshire
Salary: £27,352 per annum
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Hours: Minimum 37.5 hours per week, with start times usually around 5:00am (occasionally earlier)

We’re recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Window Cleaner to join a well-established cleaning services business covering Yorkshire and surrounding areas.

This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in delivering a high standard of work and is happy to work independently or as part of a team.

Please note: A full, valid driving licence is essential, and applicants must live within a commutable distance of Ossett. Early starts are a key part of the role.

The Role

You’ll travel to commercial and domestic customer sites to carry out window cleaning and other external cleaning duties, ensuring every job is completed safely, professionally and to a high standard.

Your duties will include:

• Carrying out window cleaning at residential and commercial properties.
• Using cleaning equipment and machinery safely and effectively.
• Supporting with additional external cleaning tasks where required.
• Maintaining a professional, polite and presentable approach when dealing with customers.
• Following health and safety procedures and wearing the correct uniform and PPE.
• Taking responsibility for your work, showing initiative and paying close attention to detail.
• Working independently or alongside colleagues to complete jobs efficiently.
• Being flexible with working hours, including occasional night shifts and weekend work.

• A full, valid driving licence – essential.

• A willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Good attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work.
• A professional and presentable manner when visiting customer sites.
• The physical ability to lift and handle cleaning equipment and machinery.
• Flexibility to work early starts, occasional nights and weekends.
• The ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

Previous window cleaning experience would be beneficial, but a willingness to learn and a strong work ethic are equally important.

Working Hours

Start times are usually around 5:00am, although shifts can begin as early as 4:30am or occasionally earlier. Start and finish times will vary depending on customer requirements. Occasional night shifts and weekend work may also be required.
