Finishing Operative
Location: Sittingbourne
Pay: £13.33 - £15.01 per hour
Contract: Temp to Perm

Shifts Available:

• Nights: 10:00pm - 6:00am
• Rotating: 6:00am - 2:00pm / 2:00pm - 10:00pm

We're recruiting for a Finishing Operative to join our client's busy manufacturing team in Sittingbourne. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work and takes pride in producing high-quality finished products.

Working as part of a supportive team, you'll be responsible for preparing, finishing and inspecting products before they're ready for dispatch. Full training is provided, making this a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in manufacturing.

What You'll Be Doing

• Preparing products for the finishing process.
• Carrying out finishing work to meet quality standards.
• Operating workshop equipment and machinery safely.
• Loading, unloading and moving materials using safe manual handling techniques.
• Inspecting finished products and reporting any faults or defects.
• Packing products ready for dispatch.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Following all health and safety procedures at all times.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, production or another hands-on environment is beneficial but not essential.
• A practical approach with good attention to detail.
• Comfortable carrying out manual handling duties.
• Reliable, hardworking and punctual.
• Able to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible to work either night or rotating shifts.
