Job Description:

Customer Service Coordinator 

Location: Aylesford, Kent 
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour – PAYE via Pertemps 
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm
Contract: Temporary to Permanent

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service skills looking to join a growing business with long-term career prospects. The candidate needs to occasionally support warehouse or van driving operations as business needs require.

Customer Service Coordinator Key Responsibilities

• Making outbound calls to existing customers.
• Processing customer orders received via telephone and email.
• Monitoring and managing the company inbox.
• Assisting customers with enquiries, issues, and open support tickets.
• Completing general administrative duties.
• Producing daily reports and updates for management.
• Maintaining accurate customer records and documentation.
• Supporting the wider team with various office-based tasks as required.

Customer Service Coordinator skills and experience

• Must have Full UK manual Driving License 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise workload and work independently.
• Positive, flexible, and professional approach to work.

Customer Service Coordinator - additional opportunities and requirements 

While this is primarily a Customer Service Coordinator role, there may be opportunities to support other areas of the business when required, including:

• Assisting with local deliveries using a company vehicle.
• Supporting warehouse operations.
• Receiving training to become a Forklift Truck Operator (subject to training and business requirements).
• Receiving training in engineering-related duties for candidates interested in developing additional skills.

These duties would only form a small part of the role and would be undertaken as and when required by the business.
