The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a range of heavy goods vehicles and trailers. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HGV Technician with strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills to join a friendly, established team where quality workmanship, honesty and customer service are highly valued.

HGV Technician Requirements:
⦁ Hold an NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, Vehicle Mechanics or an equivalent recognised qualification.

⦁ Proven experience carrying out HGV fault finding and diagnostics, including the use of modern diagnostic equipment.
⦁ Experience carrying out HGV inspections, servicing, brake repairs and MOT preparation.
⦁ Confident identifying mechanical and electrical faults and completing repairs independently.
⦁ Previous experience working in a busy workshop environment.
⦁ Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
⦁ Honest, reliable and trustworthy, with a strong work ethic and pride in the quality of your work.
⦁ Hold a full, clean UK driving licence. An HGV licence would be advantageous but is not essential.

HGV Technician Benefits:
⦁ Salary: £50,000 per annum.
⦁ Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (30-minute lunch break).
⦁ Company pension scheme.
⦁ Private medical insurance.
⦁ On-site parking.

NOTE – Our client encourages applications from candidates with both commercial and ex-military backgrounds, particularly REME Vehicle Mechanics with substantial hands-on experience maintaining, diagnosing and repairing heavy goods vehicles.
