Site Manager | Water Infrastructure
Exeter | £60,000 + £5,400 Car Allowance / Company Vehicle + Package

The Opportunity

We’re recruiting an experienced Site Manager to deliver projects across the South West Water AMP8 framework for a leading UK civil engineering contractor.
You’ll manage multiple schemes valued from £50k to £2m, covering pipelines, reservoirs, pumping stations and associated clean water and wastewater infrastructure.

Please note: Previous water utilities experience is essential. Applications without clean water or wastewater experience cannot be considered.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of multiple live projects, managing:

• Site teams, subcontractors and supply chain
• Programme, milestones and project delivery
• Health & Safety, CDM and temporary works
• RAMS, quality inspections and site documentation
• Client meetings and stakeholder relationships
• Budgets, forecasts and NEC contract performance
• Pre-construction and buildability input
• KPIs, SLAs and framework requirements

About You

You’ll need:

• Proven clean water and/or wastewater project experience
• Civil engineering main contractor background
• Experience working on water utility frameworks
• NEC contract knowledge, ideally NEC4
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects
• Strong commercial and programme awareness
• Good client and stakeholder management skills
• HNC/HND/NVQ/Degree or equivalent construction qualification
• SMSTS, CSCS and relevant site qualifications
