B2B Operative

Location: Paddock Wood, Kent

Salary: £33,566 per annum

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 6:00pm

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented B2B Operative to join a busy warehouse and distribution operation in Paddock Wood.

This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced environment, responsible for ensuring business-to-business orders are accurately picked, packed, processed and despatched in line with customer requirements. If you have warehouse experience, a strong eye for detail, and enjoy working as part of a team, this could be an excellent opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

Reviewing Customer Orders

• Review stock requirements for customer orders.
• Ensure customer-specific requirements are understood and followed, including batch codes and date-sensitive products.
• Verify stock availability before processing orders.

Picking Stock

• Create stock movements for orders.
• Accurately pick and count products.
• Maintain high levels of accuracy throughout the fulfilment process.

Packaging

• Follow customer and brand-specific packaging requirements.
• Pack and consolidate orders to required standards.
• Ensure products are prepared safely for transportation.

Processing Orders

• Process orders through internal systems.
• Ensure correct courier and postage options are selected.
• Generate and attach shipping labels.
• Prepare orders for collection and despatch.
• Maintain accurate records for customer billing and shipping costs.

You will regularly use:

• Barcode scanners
• Weighing scales
• Warehouse management systems
• B2B order processing systems
• Pallet trucks
• Roll cages

What We're Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience

• Previous warehouse experience.
• Experience in picking, packing, or order fulfilment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good numeracy skills.
• Comfortable using scanners and basic IT systems.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently.
